" The world was full of women painters and carvers , ballads, songs, Creation and death myths and folk-tales. We must ansure that these singers, myth-creating folk, painters and carvers don't die out because humanity will die out with them. Let's preserve, collect and distribute their works, let's learn from them, let folk art be a vibrant part of our spirit, not separated from the people, as it expresses itself naturally. It is evidence of the past and its resilience. " (Ferenc Juhász ,Új Írás,1966)
