She was born in Transsylvania (Rumania) in 1928. The family moved to Hungary in 1944. Althrough she was trained as a seamstress , she was early attracted to printing and drawing. Her first pictures were shown in 1987. Since then , she has participaded in numerous exhibitions both in Hungary and abroad. She revives on her paitings the ethnographical authentic world of the Transsylvanian people , their natural environment, their houses, their traditional celebrations. Her pictures feature in the collections of Queen Elisabeth II., Árpád Göncz and George Pataki . Her paintings can be found in galleries abroad, for example the GINA Gallery.
